Doyon Tourism also owns and operates tourism properties in the backcountry of Denali National Park. The Kantishna Roadhouse is a rustic Alaskan backcountry lodge located 95 miles inside Denali Park. This full-service, deluxe backcountry Alaskan lodge delivers an experience you won't find anywhere else; including first-rate cabin accommodations and activities ranging from fishing and hiking to gold panning all in the shadow of Mt. McKinley.
Kantishna Wilderness Trails offers a unique one-day sightseeing trip into the heart of Denali National Park. Our comfortable buses offer all of our visitors ample space to maneuver and take photos of wildlife & wilderness throughout the day of travel in Denali Park. Our trips make frequent stops for wildlife, all points of interest, and of course... when nature calls. The round-trip journey doesn't end at the Eielson Visitor's Center like other trips, but continues on through Interior Alaska's historic Wonder Lake district to the end of the Denali Park Road. After a satisfying lunch served at the Kantishna Roadhouse, you'll make your way back through Denali Park, with additional chances for wildlife viewing and sightseeing.
We look forward to seeing you this summer in Denali National Park!
